Tips and tricks:
The following are tips and tricks for the smooth gameplay.
- Weapon enhancement
Like many of the present role-playing games, Genshin Impact offers a plethora of weapons and gears. Weapons in the game can be upgraded. In Genshin Impact, you can enhance your weapons using enhancement ores, or by using other weapons.
During the early hours, what most players do is upgrade a low-grade weapon. This is one of the mistakes that must be avoided in Genshin Impact. The resources required to upgrade a weapon in the game are limited (requires grinding). You can buy them from blacksmiths, or find them in chests while exploring the open world of Teyvat.
- Only use your Wishes in groups of 10
So Genshin Impact uses a “gacha” system for earning new characters and some powerful weapons, which essentially mean you, can buy loot boxes for a slight edge. It sounds concerning, but you’ll also earn plenty of loot and the currency needed to buy these loot boxes just for playing.
These loot boxes are called Wishes. Some are seasonal, others are always the same, but you should always save your Wishes and spend them in groups of 10. The reason being is that when you open 10 at once, you’re always guaranteed a four-star weapon or character, which is the second-highest tier available. The drop rate for four-star rewards is a measly 5 percent, so take what you can get. (Five-star rewards only have a 0.6 percent chance to drop. Yikes.)
- Exploration is rewarding
Exploration is rewarding in Genshin Impact, even in the early game. The sheer beauty of the open world offered by the game is worth exploring. Moreover, exploring the vast open-world will reward you with cooking items, raw materials, chests, puzzles, and much more.
In Genshin Impact, most of the features are locked behind an adventurer rank and a few other requirements. However, exploring is still a fun thing to do, especially when it has the potential to make you overpowered quite early in the game.
