Tell me about yourself?
I’m a passionate programmer, blogger, Fullstack web developer and I’m currently working on my game “DontBlink” available on google play store.
My goal is to prove that “Get high grades and graduate from the university will make you successful” is just a myth. Smart work, passion, and consistency are the factors that lead to success.
Tell me about your work experience?
I’m a self-taught programmer. I had the opportunity to work as a Unity game developer at NOVA4. This was the spark that triggered the idea to work on DontBlink.
I’m currently working at Ericsson as an Integration Engineer with a full-time job.
I was able to manage my time to be able to improve myself at work and to keep improving Dontblink with new updates every couple of months.
At what age did Hussein Cheayto start doing work and developed a love for coding?
I was first introduced to programming at an age of 19 when I took a C++ course. I had no idea what’s C++ and what is coding used for. Besides, I barely succeeded in that course and I hated to code.
After 2 years, I was searching for a way to make money online. I was surprised that coding is one of the best-guaranteed ways to make money from home.
That motivated me and I was eager to learn, C++, Java, Python from Youtube mainly.
To answer your question, I started developing a love for coding at an age of 21.
At an age of 24, I developed a love for 3D arts using Blender.
How did you develop a fondness for artwork?
My dream job is to work from home + to be independent by avoiding the 9-5 work. These were the reasons that motivated me the most.
Did you study artwork? If yes then from where?
I purchased courses from Udemy related to programming and artwork. But most of the time, I used to open Youtube and learn for free.
Why did you choose coding as a profession?
It’s not my profession, it’s my passion.
I choose it to make a second income stream.
Who are your biggest influences?
A lot, but Dan Lok is the one who made the biggest impact.
How do you become a successful artist?
Inconsistency, passion, patience, dedication, and to never give up.
To become successful => become famous => become viral on social media.
Cooperate and collaborate with other people to help each other grow faster.
Always surround yourself with people smarter, more successful than yourself
What makes you a good graphic designer and different from others?
I’m always eager to learn new things every day.
What makes me different is that I’m not ashamed to learn from developer/graphic designers who have less experience than or if they are younger than me.
