Tell me about yourself?

I’m a 19 years old currently serving my mandatory military service and during my time in service, I taught myself pixel art and animation.

 

Tell me about your work experience?

I don’t have any work experience yet, if you include commissions then yes I have some experience working with clients.

 

At what age did you start doing work and developed a love for artwork?

Started getting more into pixel art at 19, I gained interest in the medium at around 17-18.

 

How did you develop a fondness for artwork?

It started with some pixel art gifs I encountered on Pinterest and slowly my Pixel art folder on Pinterest kept growing.

 

Did you study artwork? If yes then from where?

I did not have any formal art education specifically on pixel art.

 

From where did you learn this?

I learnt pixel art by observing other artists’ works and trying to break them down and learn from them.

 

Why did you choose art as a profession?

Currently it’s only a hobby, not sure yet if it will become a profession.

 

Who are your biggest influences?

I’m influenced by many artists but one of the biggest influence that shaped my current style is @/kaynimatic on Twitter.

 

How do you become a successful artist?

I think it’s really about enjoying your craft and having fun while learning it.

 

What makes you good and different from others?

 There are artists that are way more talented than I am so I would say I’m decent. What differentiates me a little would be my minimalistic pixel art style and high contrast I think.

 

What does your art represent and does art mean to you?

My works don’t really represent much, it’s all just about having fun making things I feel like making.
