Tiffy Roche is an amazing artist. Let’s read her art journey closely to know her vision of art better.

Tell me about yourself?

I’m a 16 years old Israeli Jewish girl, I have a big family that is British from one side and Canadian from the other, I’m the second out of 9 children. I spend my days as any teenager does, going to school, spending time with friends and family, working… And in my free time, I mostly make many kinds of art, and also write books and poetry, train in gymnastics and sing a lot.

Tell me about your work experience?

I haven’t made my art my job yet, but I love making drawings for people that mean something to me, friends, family, and so on. I hope that one day I’ll have enough self-confidence to start making professional art and make it a profitable business.

At what age did you start doing work and developed a love for artwork?

I have always loved art, I drew a lot as a kid, and always went to every art class and course I could find. I started developing my art seriously about two years ago, as I realized I really have the ability and the passion for it.

How did you develop a fondness for artwork?

It just happened on its own, with me drawing so much it just become kind of an obsession, and now I do it all the time, everywhere, and on anything.

Did you study artwork? If yes then from where?

Not professionally, but I had a few courses of serious art when I was in a special program for gifted kids, for about four years.

From where did you learn this?

Just from trying, failing, and trying again. That’s how you get good at things, you just do it a lot, give it time, and you don’t give up when you fail, you only make the mistake, learn from it and next time you try you do it better. You can do anything as long as you try hard enough.

Who are your biggest influences?

Actually, there aren’t specific people that I get inspired by, but just anyone and everything. Artists I follow on Instagram or watch on YouTube and Tiktok, works I see on the internet and in real life, and such. Someone that influenced me a lot, not connected to art but just my life as is, is Harry Styles, and also Liam, Louis, and Niall, the rest of One Direction. They had such a big influence on me from the day I discovered them, I learned from them that if you never give up, no matter how hard life gets, you can become the greatest in what you’re doing. As Harry said- “if your happy, doing what you’re doing, no one can tell you you’re not successful.”

How do you become a successful artist?

You just try, try and try again, and never stop. Never give up even if it seems like nothing goes by plan. Just keep trying, keep working on it.

What does your art represent and does art mean to you?

To me art is a way of expressing my thoughts and feeling in a visual way, it makes me happier, more confident, and it’s just amazing that I have this ability. I don’t take it for granted, I’m thankful for it and what I can do every single day.
